From Blank Slate to Selling Online: A Brand, Website, and Local Presence Built End-to-End.
The Master’s Hand Woodworks crafts made-to-order pieces from its own sawmill, including custom tables, fireplace mantels, arbors, vanities, crosses, hearts, and more, serving customers in the Sandhills/Moore County area of North Carolina. The shop emphasizes handcrafted quality and precision, led by woodworker Erik Parbst, who brings more than 30 years of experience to each project. He also produces cedar outdoor structures such as pavilions, pergolas, and shelters, highlighting cedar’s natural resistance to weather, insects, and decay.

The Problem
There was no existing brand system or site to showcase products, collect orders, or capture leads, which made every sale dependent on word of mouth. The client also lacked a verified local listing, resulting in inconsistent or limited search results for the business. We needed to establish brand clarity, enable e-commerce, and ensure that local customers could find and trust the business on their first contact.
The Approach
We developed a clean visual identity with a new logo and core brand elements, then built a mobile-first WordPress site that puts portfolio proof and clear CTAs front and center. A WooCommerce shop enables made-to-order sales with product categories, structured detail pages, and a checkout process, while performance and accessibility tuning keep the experience fast on mobile devices. To anchor local visibility, we created and verified a Google Business Profile with accurate location data, photos, and initial updates, aligning on-site SEO with local signals so customers can find and trust the business at first touch.
