Handcrafted Bats, Built for Real Players
Sundog Bats is a small-batch bat maker focused on quality, consistency, and player feel. They serve youth, high school, and college hitters who want a wood bat that fits their swing, not a one-size-fits-all model. Every order can be customized by model, length/weight, colors, and optional engraving, so each bat looks right and performs the way the player expects.
The Problem
Sundog Bats was starting from zero. They needed a full website-branding applied, clear product pages, a simple way to customize bats (model, length/weight, colors, optional engraving), and a checkout that didn’t slow people down. They also needed clear orders to capture specifications cleanly, so production could get to work without back-and-forth.
The Approach
We built a straightforward, mobile-first WooCommerce store. The product page guides players through choices in a natural order: model, length/weight, colors, and engraving, with clear copy, transparent pricing, and helpful prompts. Checkout is fast and trusted with Stripe. On the back end, we pass every selection into the order so the shop sees exactly what to make. We added essentials like shipping/tax rules, basic content, and analytics so they could launch with confidence.
