Community Platform for Former Student-Athletes, Kept Fast and Tidy with Managed Care
Ninety8Percent is a community built by and for former collegiate athletes, sharing experiences and resources to help members navigate life after sports. The site features an About overview, career coaching, resources, interviews, podcasts, and event updates aimed at advancing personal and professional growth for the “other 98%.”
The Problem
The platform required consistent reliability and light-touch support, rather than a ground-up rebuild. This meant keeping pages quick on mobile, applying routine updates safely, and handling small content or layout tweaks without breaking navigation across sections like Resources, Interviews, and Podcasts.
Our Approach
We provide managed hosting and ongoing maintenance, along with a staged update workflow for core, themes, and plugins. That includes uptime monitoring, SSL, automated and manual backups, and periodic performance maintenance to ensure articles, episodes, and event pages remain responsive. As-needed changes encompass small design fixes, content edits, and link updates across sections, accompanied by regression checks to prevent unexpected issues. The net effect is a stable, easy-to-navigate site that allows the team to focus on community building and programming.
