Composer Site Redesigned for Clarity, Performance, and Friction-Free Inquiries
Ofer Ben-Amots is an Israeli-American composer and publisher who teaches composition and theory at Colorado College. His work draws on Jewish folklore, especially Eastern European Yiddish and Judeo-Spanish (Ladino) traditions, interweaving folk elements with contemporary textures. His biography details his studies in Geneva and the U.S., including a Ph.D. in composition. He currently chairs the Colorado College Music Department, and his works are performed regularly in concert halls worldwide.
The Problem
The existing web presence required a modern design system and page structure that foregrounds the bio, catalog, and media without overwhelming visitors with menus. Spam through public forms was wasting time. Hosting and basic site care also needed to be handled so the composer and team could focus on music, not maintenance.
Our Approach
We delivered a custom redesign and WordPress build that organizes the homepage around the composer’s identity and voice, with clear routes to the About, Catalog, Videos, and featured projects sections. Inquiry and submission forms were rebuilt and protected with Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated spam while maintaining a fast form experience for real visitors. We host and maintain the site with SSL, backups, updates, and uptime monitoring, and we tuned front-end performance for faster page loads across the catalog and media sections.
